From Parisian Courtrooms to Global Consulting

Benjamin Jaboeuf, founder of BVJ Consulting, began his professional journey in 2003 as an intellectual property lawyer in Paris, France. With a strong foundation in IP licensing, litigation, and arbitration, Benjamin quickly rose through the ranks to become a senior associate at one of the country’s most reputable law firms. His legal acumen and passion for navigating complex commercial landscapes laid the groundwork for what would become a multifaceted global career.

A Transatlantic Leap: Expanding Legal Horizons

In 2008, driven by an ambition to broaden his expertise beyond Europe, Benjamin relocated to California and enrolled at UC Law San Francisco. There, he earned a second law degree, deepening his understanding of international legal frameworks and U.S. corporate law.

Upon graduation, Benjamin transitioned into a pivotal role as a Senior Country Research Specialist. He led EMEA tax and regulatory strategy efforts at a prominent global firm, where he advised on high-level policy development and strategic regulatory compliance for multinational corporations.

Entering the World of Startups

Working closely with innovation-driven businesses and fast-scaling enterprises, Benjamin developed a sharp insight into the startup ecosystem. His role exposed him to the operational, financial, and legal challenges founders face, inspiring him to shift his focus toward venture building and advisory. Over the next decade, he played a crucial part in helping numerous startups raise capital, navigate regulatory hurdles, and establish solid foundations for sustainable growth.

Founding BVJ Consulting

In September 2023, Benjamin launched BVJ Consulting in San Francisco, CA—an elite advisory firm tailored to early-stage and growth-stage startups. With over 20 years of legal, operational, and strategic expertise, BVJ Consulting was founded with a singular mission: to empower founders with practical, high-impact guidance rooted in deep industry knowledge. Today, Benjamin continues to work alongside entrepreneurs across sectors, offering personalized support that helps transform bold ideas into thriving ventures.
