why I built this

After 20 years advising startups, first in Paris IP litigation, then in California after UC Law SF, I kept seeing the same thing. Brilliant founders losing deals, equity, and time because their legal and operational infrastructure was a mess. Not because they were careless. Because no one had ever told them what investor-ready actually looks like on the inside.

I built BVJ Consulting to be the advisor I wish every founder had in their corner before the term sheet arrives, not after. Structured, fixed-price, and obsessively focused on getting it right the first time.
